Dragon Fruit: This climbing cactus is one of the most beautiful and wide spread members of the Cactaceae family. The magnificent night blooming white flowers can be up to 14 inches in diameter. The fruit is most often eaten fresh or used in frozen drinks. The fruit are high in lycopene which is a natural antioxidant that is known to fight cancer and heart disease. Protection is needed from winter freezes below 28 degrees.

Aloe Barbadensis: A species of aloe (Aloe vera) native to the Mediterranean region.  The mucilaginous juice or gel obtained from the leaves of this plant, widely used in cosmetic and pharmaceutical preparations for its soothing and healing properties.

Aloe 'Midnight' - A rosette forming succulent to 8 to 12 inches tall by 1 foot wide with rough-textured dark green leaves with dark reddish highlights and orange flowers. Plant in full sun to light shade in a well-drained soil and irrigate occasionally. The plant is being treated as an indoor plant or an annual. This plant is an intergeneric hybrid created by the crossing of an Aloe with a Gasteria created by Kelly Griffin.

Besides the religious significance of the Crown of Thorns, the plant also has a famous meaning of good luck engrained deeply in many beliefs. Therefore, those who grow the plant should always be blessed with lots of good luck. Crown of Thorns is a plant growing best in a sunny location. During periods of active growth, water when the soil surface becomes dry but when the plant is resting, keep it drier. Ideal temperatures are 62 to 65 degrees at night and 80 to 85 degrees during the day. The plant may be kept cooler during the winter. This is a very easy house plant to grow! Comments: Propagation is by cuttings. Allow the cuttings to dry before placement in the rooting medium. Proper name: Euphorbia splendens

Aloe 'Pink Blush' - This small clumping aloe has textured, dark green and light green leaves with raised pink ridges and orange flowers. Its unusual foliage makes a truly unique container plant. Plant in full sun to light shade in a well-drained soil. Irrigate occasionally to regularly.
